Hi, my name is Nick. I’m an ambitious, self-motivated digital designer and creative artworker currently working with a wide range of clients at OLIVER in London.

I’m deadline-orientated and curious to learn new things, and I love working hand-in-hand with my team to create the best work possible for our clients. It’s what makes me proud to do what I do!

Working at one of the world’s biggest creative agencies. Currently involved with the design and production of Virgin Media’s direct marketing and creative assets including motion graphics, brochures, letters, OOH, emails and social & online banners. Making sure quick turnarounds are made possible for any amends or creative solutions, while advising clients of what is possible from their visual guidelines as their ‘brand guardian’. Also working with other clients at Oliver including Honda, Boots, Google and Reebok.

Duties:

  • Checking layout, format, typography, colour and any other details to make sure the work remains consistent and within brand guidelines.
  • Collaborating with other designers to produce high-quality print work and digital campaigns.
  • Preparing files for print, ranging from brochures to billboards and correctly supplying all assets to production.

At this multi award-winning, full service agency, my work included creating and amending a variety of print and digital work — everything from minor menu amends, to proofing several 100-page catalogues, retouching, and supplying assets at the highest quality. I have a wide understanding of brand identity due to working closely with clients such as Barclaycard, Aegon, B&Q, Lakeland, LV and Greene King.

Responsible for supplying bespoke, print-ready artwork and digital assets to car dealerships nationwide through our dealer marketing portal. Producing artwork for newspaper advertisments and large-format billboards as well as digital advertising resources for dealer websites and email campaigns. I also re-worked creative concepts supplied by client-side designers to be used across a wide range of media.

Duties:

  • Taking concepts through to final artwork for a range of major car manufacturers including Fiat, Jeep, Alfa Romeo, BMW and Audi.
  • Creating suites of digital assets, including social media and email templates.
  • Extensive high-quality retouching of car photography, including complete recolouring.
  • Management of the dealer portal, which often involved creating up to 100 assets per day to strict, tight deadlines.
