Virgin were continuing to implement their swirl into their marketing emails for mobile. The layout was staying the same, so my task was to create new hero images for their SIM-only and Christmas emails. The SIM-only emails needed a small section of the swirl for similar reasons as the letters. For the Christmas email, we were supplied a design for the front cover of the mobile brochure that needed reworking to fit into the hero image of the email. Only a few baubles were needed — anything else would’ve interfered with the headline and made the overall email look too busy.
I was also briefed with creating banners to sit within Virgin’s mobile app to promote new deals. We have been using and updating the banners to Virgin’s strict layout guidelines since the start of 2021.
